AT THE PARLIAMENT´S MEETING, ARSENIY YATSENIUK, CHAIRMAN OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE, CONGRATULATED UKRAINIAN SPORTSMEN PARTICIPANTS OF XXIX OLYMPIC GAMES HELD IN BEIJING
«Today we invited the pick of Ukrainian sports elite to the Parliament. These people achieved more that ten ministers of foreign affairs and a million-strong army of officials, as these people demonstrated in practice that Ukraine is a European State. For the whole history of independent Ukraine, they won a highest number of awards.
I suggest awarding these Ukrainians, so that Ukraine could have not only a remarkable prospect, but also a bright present-time that will form our bright future".
